We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD/Architectural Designer for our Marshfield office. The position is flexible and can be filled as an independent contractor (1099) or as a full-time employee (W2). However, the applicant must be local to the area.

Experienced Structural Engineer to manage, lead and perform various structural design engineering analysis as well as a variety of tasks that support the overall project goals. The structural engineer will have the opportunity to work on new residential design, additions, and alterations/modifications. bridge, building as well as retaining walls. Perform structural inspections and assessments.
The candidate can either be a full-time employee(W-2) with limited benefits or as independent contractor (1099), and must be local.
Responsibilities:
· Project management and client interactions
· Carry out structural design, inspection and assessments.
· Prepare and review plans, construction drawings, and specifications
· Prepare all required professional documents and reports
· Provide CAD for all projects as necessary.
· Carry out construction administration responsibilities as needed
· Review and approve shop drawing, responding to and contractor questions
Qualifications:
· BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in Structural Engineering preferred
· Minimum 8-12 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer, Residential experience is preferred.
· MA PE license is required; other New States is a plus.
Experienced project architect or designer for design development, addition and modifications, as well the production of construction documents.
Responsibilities:
· Project management and client interactions
· Develop conceptual design, floor plans, elevations and sections in AutoCAD LT.
· Preparation of construction documents in sequence.
· Development of solutions to technical and design problems following Building Code standards.
· Preparation and modification of architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details.
· Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
· Maintain a good knowledge of local and national building codes
Qualifications:
· Professional Degree (BA) in Architecture.
· Minimum 5+ years of experience producing design and construction documents for residential projects.
· High proficiency in design, SketchUp and AutoCAD.
· Creative problem-solving skills, space planning, and detailing.
· Ability to produce presentation materials.
· Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents.
· AIA, LEED Accreditation, a plus
